Strong Field Shaping Up for Both the 2012 Denker and Barber

The 2012 Denker Tournament of High School Champions will field the highest average top five since it was first played in 1985. The average rating of this group of players is 2406. The Barber Tournament of K-8 Champions in its second year will see an average rating of 2255.
The Barber event is expected to break the record for the number of participants as last year was 44 and this year may be 47.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Opening Ceremony scheduled for 3 pm on Saturday, August 4 in the Discovery Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel in Vancouver, Washington.
